What is rehabilitation?
We see a range of pets, our most commonly being dogs and cats but our therapists are happy to see just about anything! The idea of rehabilitation is to return your pet to normal function and health as quickly as possible. It is a multimodal method of treatment, which means we use a range of techniques to reduce pain and discomfort. Whether your pet is recovering from surgery, managing arthritis, carrying extra weight or recovering from an injury or experiencing age related changes, rehabilitation can help improve their quality of life.
Why does my dog need rehabilitation?
Rehabilitation is designed to help your pet recover safely, move comfortably and return to doing the things they love!
Our tailored treatment plan aims to:

Every pet is different, which is why our therapists assess your pet as a whole. We understand that when one area of the body is affected, other areas may compensate, potentially leading to additional problems over time. Our goal is to identify these issues early and create an individualised rehabilitation plan that supports long-term health and movement.
Booking an Appointment
Come and see our friendly rehab therapists, your initial consultation will consist of a full history check, musculoskeletal and neurological exam if applicable. We will spend 40 minutes going over your current at home routine, discuss areas of concern and how we can work to improve any discomfort and pain. Together, we’ll develop a personalised plan to help your pet move better, feel better and live life to the fullest.
